Saved £'s and more on a trip

I've just booked Megabus which I'd not heard of til I saw it mentioned on MSE. A return journey from Victoria to Oban is surprisingly cheap, there will be someone to load/unload my luggage, stops at regular intervals, no changing of coaches, wifi and a loo on board if needed.
In comparison petrol would cost three times as much, plus the stress and tiredness driving can cause.
Train, with minimum of three changes each way, also three times as much.
Flights, with all the inconvenience of hanging around at airports, about the same as car and train.
While some would argue that it takes longer it's all about money, not time saving and without such a reasonable fare I'd not be able to afford to visit the friend I've been writing to for 10 years and yet to meet. Til now
