Its April fools day on the 1st , and popla is six months old on the same day, so Patrick Troy has come out with his traditional April fools joke, I mean speech :rotfl:
And we often hear of parking companies deliberately trying to circumvent the whole thing, parking eye is one such company doing this hugely.
So more than 1.5m fake tickets issued with about 30% not paid, and he bangs on about a thousand appeals .

in the first 4 months they reported "At the point of writing some 1342 appeals have been received by POPLA with 458 adjudications having been concluded and communicated to operators. Of these 63% have been found in favour of the motorist and 37% have been found in favour of the operator."

I note in the 6 month blog they don't declare the motorists success rate, maybe one own goal too many!!0 -
