There's a group of DFWs meeting in Blackpool in September I think... I'm on the south coast, so a trip up there really isn't very DFW for me unfortunately :( perhaps I should just start arranging a southern one...

Can I have a cup of tea if I bring cream cakes?? Only joking as I know thats not very DFW!

Seriously as a newbie on the boards, it has to be a good thing to see that people on here arent all doom and gloom. People get down enough about their debts and a bit of light hearted banter can surely be counted as a pick me up, which along with the helpful advice is part of the support this website offers?

From what I can tell this place offers something similar to a AA group and being in debt is very depressing and so the people reading on here need a bit of a smile from time to time.

The balance of this board is such that any parties are in the vast minority of threads and in no way (to me) seem to prioritise over the important new posts.

Besides if that doesnt work -freedom of speach!!!

Hear hear shiney happy!! I completely agree.

Storm - I'm in Bristol so Blackpool's no good for me either. I think we should have a southern meet too. I'd be so up for that!

triker - forgive my ignorance - but what the chuff is a Gypsy Cream?!!!
