If I want a DFW party, afternoon tea, or brunch I'll have one or join in one.

There said it.;)

Last time I looked the only person who own's this site is Martin Lewis.

I'm completely not bothered where it has to be posted, here or the Arms but it's been bugging me for a while all this malarky.

Right, now I've got that off my chest, coffee anyone?

OK just me then, I'll get my coat.:D

Forgot to say absolutely everyone welcome, young, old, bald and hairy.

this is a good opportunity for me to get "clued up" as to what's been happening. I gather that a newbie complained about the parties. Who did he/she complain to and what was the complaint and what did the person they complained to do?

Basically someone posted in one of the parties a few weeks back saying how disgusting it was this we weren't taking the board seriously and that all the newbies wouldn't get the help they needed which of cours eis rubbish. Presumably she then reported the thread and it got deleted.

ooooh - how mean!!! How on earth does one thread stop people getting advice?!!!

Think someone needs to get out more if that's all they have to worry about...

but sloppy does that all the time and nothing happens??

Surely the Mods didn't just take their word for it and arbitrarily delete a thread that people were enjoying posting on?? Do we know which Mod deleted it?

So basically DFW is just about the grinding misery of poverty and if anyone dares to try and lighten the mood, they get thrown out of here???

Grrr, I can feel myself stepping onto a soapbox shortly!!

What I don't get is that it's surely better to have one thread where everyone's chatting than for others to get hijacked surely

    Oh well!

Not sure who deleted it or why without speaking to the person who reported it. Sloppy's posts will get deleted if reported but I think it depends on whether the person reports the thread or the post.
