Thomson's claim

Back in 2009 we were delayed on a Thomson's flight to Turkey by 18 hrs , on return we complained to them and finally (after 3 knockbacks we were sent a £100 holiday voucher as compensation) (it worked out as £25 each as 4 of us were traveling) ...can we still claim for cash also ?
