Viewing mini-statements thru Nationwide Internet Banking

Hi

When i use Nationwide Internet banking and click on my Flexaccount link, i get shown a mini-statement and this shows the latest transactions but it doesn't give much details about each transaction. For example it will just say "direct debit xxx pounds" "standing order xxx pounds", bank credit xxx pounds" and so on, yet on the Internet Banking Demo (link below), the Mini-statement shows FULL details of each transaction just like the full statement. Could someone explain this discrepancy? I know i could click the link "view full statement" but this only shows the transactions up until the end of the previous day.

Thanks :)

My Nationwide account is the same. The mini statement has no details at all so I have to click on the full one instead.

Send them a msg to see what they say. I will do the same.

Click "Preferences", then "Change Start Page" then select your account, and Full Statement.

Note that transactions going through today DO NOT show on the full statement until the next day.

    Good luck!

    Hi Hazza

Thanks for your reply. Yes, i am aware that the full statement shows the full details of each transactions and also how to change the start page to this...BUT i prefer to look at my mini-statement as this also shows 'live' transactions. Like i mentioned before, in the internet banking demo mini-statements also have further details attached to each transaction such as " Direct Debit Halifax Insurance x pounds " instead of just "Direct Debit x pounds". I have sent NW a message, will wait and see what they say.

It's a quirk of their system, much like when I used to work for the NatWest years ago - for a "Mini statement", you entered one screen, and that showed up to the close of business the day before, and "Morning entries" (i.e. today) were obtained from a separate screen. I expect that when NatWest incorporated RBS's systems this may have changed, but it seems to be a smiilar system at the NW.
