A long Hotmail user I have a 'main' hotmail address (my windows live log-in) and a number of other hotmail addresses that I use to to protect my main address from spam. I used to be able to send from these alternative addresses keeping my 'main' address secure. Having been moved to the new Outlook system I find that any email I send seems to come from my main address - even if I reply to an email that has been sent to an alternative address it is sent from my 'main' address. Any one know how I can send from my alternative addresses? I'm using Windows 7 and Firefox. Thanks for any help.

To part answer my own question. When clicking New or Reply your own details appear top left - there is a down arrow which if clicked allows you to choose your alternative or alias address. Problem is sometimes the down arrow isn't there.0
