Pets/Animals thread?

Hi, I'm probably posting in the wrong place, but was just wondering why there isn't a forum specifically for discussing pets/animals and for offering advice for those who need it on those topics?
I have answered many cat related questions on MSE as I have experience in that particular area, but almost every time I've posted, some idiot comes on with unhelpful posts about how to kill or harm animals, which isn't necessary and is at times upsetting.
Hopefully if there were a specific pet forum then these idiots wouldn't waste their time visiting it and would leave us pet lovers alone.
