Mce Insurance

Hi all,

Newbie-ish here (go easy on me)

I've been looking at car insurance for the past few years and in the past month or so my quote has dropped massively. Im 24 with 6 points and got caught with IN10 (failure to insure car) which was a problem with company, not me, so insurance has been a pain to try and get.

I was getting quotes of 7k-12k online, but have recently got a quote of around 2k with mce. I just wanted to know if this is normal that there quote is so low? Has anyone had insurance with them before?

Always always check the T&C's. If it's that much lower than everyone else then you want to comb through a policy booklet (if you can get hold of one). Is there anything standout they won't cover? Who are they underwritten by? Admin fees and Cancellation fees?

Do the research and if it looks solid then you could go for it, and always run details by here if you are unsure about anything

If you were driving a company vehicle at the time you were stopped for no insurance and had no reason to suspect you were not insured you have not committed an offence.

What were the circumstances of you being stopped / the company vehicle?
