Car was in the garage again - sent the OH in with a cheque for the last lot of work but they didnt want it as the lady who runs the office wasnt there. A NSD is going to be well and truly forgotten when I get 2 bills in 1 tomorrow:eek:

NSD 11 today. Only one more to go.

Spoon, I know! The price of prescriptions is horrendous, especially when that £7.85 only bought 28 tablets. If they don't work do you think I can claim my money back? :rotfl:

How many MB????? 34g0axu.gif That is ridiculous

The annoying thing is that you can't reclaim your money if they don't work, you end up paying another £8 for a different variety... what a rip off!!! And yet we can afford to spend £10 million of tax payers' money on Wednesday :mad:

Sorry everyone, rant over, I'll go back to my corner now :o:o

I only really popped in to declare NSD no 10 for today. I've been polishing my halo again, it stops me spending:D

Kerri, If I use the car for non essential trips I countas spendy, but that’s also to make me walk & cycle for health , but I paymyself a £1 to the fuel fund so itscounted, whereas budgeted fuel purchase doesn’t count, (but that’s for me). Makingthe most of the free things is lovely when the sun is out, a sunshine 6 & a superb NSD 7:j:j

I have thought about using my car less but I'm not sure it would be practical, or cost me much less - the bus to work would work out as much, if not more than petrol, and if I took the train shopping it's still nearly £6 return - by the time you double that for two of you (if I go with OH or DM) that's over 6hrs parking. I considered cycling to work last summer but by the time I'm loaded up with laptop, handbafg, lunch, gym kit on certain days and anything else I'd need a sidecar :rotfl: To walk reminds me of lugging all those text books to/from school (laptos not being light at all) and really isn't good for the old back. I can get petrol once a wee where I pole and its usually 2p-3p a ltr cheaper than here.

    Sorry....waffling....

Happy Birthday CW - sounds like you've had a lovely day and hurrah to your boss for giving you a few more days off :T

NSD #8 bagged here - did pick up a loaf of bread but managed to eek out the final pennies from the milk pot to cover the cost (and 5p off too). Down to one slice and didn't know what OH would want for dinner. Have been told off for having no bread in the past :o:p

Spend day today for me, still only essentials though - needed to renew by train season ticket so I could get to work and overpaid on my credit card!

Was very no-spend in attitude though - I had porridge for both breakfast and lunch as I had it there rather than go food shopping!
Getting myself back on track! Pay off debt and save deposit time!
