Problem with Ideal Icos m3080 condensing boiler

Just wondered if anyone has has a similar problem with there boiler. It was fitted about 4 1/2 years ago and has now developed a fault, well actually we have had the fault for over a year now and it seems to be getting worse. When the boiler is running it is heating the hot water to an exteremely high temperature. The thermostat on the hot water tank is set at about 55 and the hot water is actually coming out the tap at about 111 degrees f.
Our plumber has swopped absolutely everything he could, including thermostat. Still no different. It is that hot we can now no longer use our shower because that runs off the hot water and because the water is so hot it can't cool it down enough so cuts out.
I have searched on google and found mention about the pcb on early icos boilers. Does anyone know anything about this? Any advise would be appreciated because at the moment I am spending money and achieving nothing. Thanks.

This is ridiculous. You have a system boiler that is fired in response to an external demand for heat. It doesn't know or care where the heat is going.
You should get a competent heating engineer in who will check / fix the following:-
1) Is the cylinder stat working OK?
2) Is the zone valve / 3PV microswitch assembly working correctly?
3) Is the switched live to the boiler working correctly?
4) Is the PCB failing and the boiler continuing to fire via the permanent live?
It should take no more than an hour to diagnose the problem.0
