A hair in my poppadom!
reverie
I recently bought some poppadoms, the uncooked type that you then zap in the microwave, when I reached the last one in the packet in had a hair in it!! Actually half in it and half out if that makes sense, so I am sure it is a hair, having had a good look, it is a very dubious looking short black hair. EEWWWWW. They were from a well known brand.
I am reluctant to send the offending article back initially in case they deny ever receiving it, or is gets 'lost' or something. Any ideas?

Much as it pains me to tell you this.. It was short and there was a definite hint of a curl there. Once again.. EWWW.
Sending a pic is a good idea, thanks. Will do it with a letter tomorrow explaining the severe mental distress that has been caused, I think I need at least a couple of weeks in Barbados to recover

Having worked in a couple of food processing plants and been in many restaurant kitchens most people are very very lucky they do not see what happens to their food before they get it
- the worst I have seen .... lets just say that mouse droppings can be sieved out of flour. Also, you really do not want to know what goes into sausages.
- the worst I have (reliably) heard .. gives a whole new meaning to tossed salad
I must admit though that I had a hair in my lunch once - see here for proof

IvanI don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0 -

Eyelash? Eyebrow? Beard? Much, much easier for one of those to end up in your food

I agree, a friend of mine worked in a sausage making plant when we first left school, suffice to say, I've never eaten one since  :silenced:Nobody can make you feel inferior, without your permission
