Contents Cover - Tablet?

Trying to sort out contents insurance for a place we're moving into, and I notice that the insurance companies ask about laptop cover, however there's nothing specifying tablets.

Do I presume that tablets can come under personal possessions?

If you cannot find the terms then phone them and query it.

My sister claimed for a laptop and regretted it after. It would have cost her less to just go and buy a new one.

Many companies will cover tablets as audio visual equipment but it's worth ringing to check if you can't find the exact wording on the website.

For what most tablets cost is it even worth bothering to cover a tablet when your insurance excess is taken into account and also subsequent increased premiums for the next 4 or 5 years !!
