Please don't book if you don't want to use the ticket - the stops other people being able to fly taking advantage of this offer. Rest assured that if too many people don't turn up for their flights it will reflect on the passengers not Ryanair. This may be mean but I hope Ryanair blacklists ticket wasters without a genuine reason not to fly.

This was never my intention! I don't think anyone books them intending not to fly. They just might book one and due to the 1p cost book another if their plans change, or just not turn up. Why bother paying a cancellation fee on it? I won't be the only one thinking this.

I was thinking of doing the same to be honest and going where i could get the cheapest hotel, but i didnt feel it would be fair to someone who missed out on a flight they wanted because i was greedy.

Booked East Midland to Dublin - Monday to Thursday middle of June. Birthday present for my sister-in-law and b/friend. Now to find a hotel ;)

Want to book a short break for my wife and i, plus our new born baby but all infants cost £7 per flight :(

Peter Baker - if only we were allowed to say what we think on site. However, I will say that I hope you aren't bringing your children up with the same attitude. What makes you think you are less fortunate than the rest of us. I am a pensioner and I would think that lots of other people using MSE could do with an extra penny or two. Try being charitable or maybe you haven't heard of charity.

    Hey guys

I'm a bit of a lurker on this forum but am subscribed up to the newsletter.

I booked 10 of us flights to Hamburg from Stansted for £14.20 on Wed 10th October coming back the next day!

It would have been 20p if I had a Visa Electron but my only debit card is a Maestro which added 70p on each way. Still, can't complain!!

It's costing us £42 each for petrol to Stansted, parking, flights, travel insurance, transfers both ways the other end and accommodation. Probably take about £60 spending so that's £100 for a night out. Quite a lot I guess but I know plenty of people who spend £100 a night in the local town!

Anyway thanks to Martin for pointing it out!! :)
    Chris.

    Here's a question for you.

My 1 year old daughter would cost £7 each way as part of this deal.

But can I book her as a child (as you can with a scheduled airline) thus getting her a seat, and a cheaper 0.01p fare? I'd normally not think twice about doing it, but with it being Ryanair...!

no you can't. i know because i tried. at some point they make you put your child's age in. and if you read through all the terms and conditions, it repeats that you can't book a seat for an infant. the £7 is an admin charge for the privilidge of having your daughter sit on your lap. she gets no baggage allowance at all, not even hand luggage, but her bu!ggy is free!

    hope this helps

2p for me to dublin, and £14 for my baby!

Thanks so much for this! Just got us returns Liverpool to Dublin for £1.42 each including debit card charge. I fancied Milan, but stick-in-the-mud DH not so keen:rolleyes:
