    That's the problem.

  • Thanx a million Martin! :T

Booked London Stansted - Oslo (Torp), Norway return for 2p !!
    departing: 5 Sep
    coming back: 10 Sep

A couple of things to note for other users:
    1. There were other flights for 1p but they had taxes. Probably because they were before 3 Sep and hence coming in the 'school vacation' range.

    2. 2p price means no baggage to check in -- remove their 'online/priority check-in' option (which is enabled by default if you have 0 bags) to get this price. With 0 bags only cabin baggage is allowed, max. size roughly equal to a fully filled average sized backpack.

    3. Paid with my switch debit card (don't have credit card) -- checkout terms said that I will be charged £0.70 per flight per person for paying by debit card (making total charge £1.40 for return) but final checkout page did not show this, nor did confirmation email show this. I suppose will have to double check through bank statement. But not bothered - that's still very cheap!!:D

    Good luck ppl!

If you can't get into Ryanair's website as it's so busy, here's the link to the back-end - the booking engine, which seems fine!

carpet-baggers like me will block book and only use a fraction of the flights booked??

Why? and spoil it for everyone else.

Sorry Chuffy, but by block booking dates that I might use but might not, I give myself and my kids enormous flexibility and opportunity. I don't earn enough to do it if it was £10 a time but at 2p a time it would have been rude not to!

I understand your sentiment, but it is only spoiled here for those MSE'ers that weren't quick enough, and you could say that actually Martin has spoiled it for all those who aren't MSE subscribers:-))

I am not sure I like a world where we are induced to run from trough to trough like pigs, or bump into each other chasing falling five pound notes tossed from a window, but that's what we are doing basically, and those flights sure were cheap while they lasted this morning!!!

Sorry...just a question of today's lucky draw I guess ... tomorrow's lucky draw will be something else and a different group will win a few bargains ... chances are they will still be MSE'rs though, eh?;-)
