Thanks for advice with a claim.

I just wanted to say thankyou to the great folks who advised me recently on a claim for furniture damaged whilst in storage.
Basically, the insurance company wanted to pay just £460 against my claim of just short of a thousand pounds. The insurance cover was provided by our removal and storage company and was an indemnity policy.
After posting on here, requesting information on how much to expect being deducted for wear and tear, I refused their offer which they immediately increased by almost a third to £610,
Not satisfied and bearing in mind what this forum's knowledgeable contributors had advised, I submitted a claim allowing for 10%/annum wear and tear deduction. I also refused to accept a deduction for the time our goods were in storage.
This morning we received a cheque for £943.00 !!! Result or what !!
So again, a very big thanks to those who took the time to offer excellent advice.
