I have had a company lease car for the last 9 years or so. I have not had a privately owned car and neither has my partner. Thanks guys. Am a lot clearer. Bouncydog - take the advice about getting a cheaper car. Was looking at group 16 and could as you say get a much cheaper car to insure and (hopefully) work up the NCB for a year or two.

I shall make a date with the broker and let you know how I got on.
