I wouldn't use firstchoiceshop for the following reasons:

    (1) Disposable 0800 number. There is an 0121 landline number hidden in the T&Cs
    (2) No geographical address
    (3) Registrant details hidden in whois. Why would a trading company want to hide their details?
    The man without a signature.
  • Hmm true point, I believe 0121 is west midlands somewhere? As far as I can make out they are drop shippers only, but is that such an issue?

Tbh so long as I get good service, quality items, good prices and no defects I'm drawn in. They do seem to have a limited inventory but I think that is a good thing, more choice doesn't look good for me.

How suspicious that JamesM1992 decides to sign up to rubbish one firm and then big up a decidedly dodgy looking site (make your own minds up about the legitimacy of his posts).

A few facts about http://www.firstchoiceshop.com in addition to the red flags that vikingaero raised -
    • The site has no EU Cookie Opt Out - This is a legal requirement for all websites using Cookies.
    • They appear confused about who they are - The T&C page says that the site is owned by a company called First Choice Shop Ltd, who were incorporated yesterday with a company registration number 08465448! However, at the bottom of the same page it says the site is owned by FirstChoice Shop and gives a registration number 02460520 - that number belongs to a dormant company called GEORGE BAKER LIMITED.

Another interesting thing is Google's cache of the T&C page

It is dated 10/03, but still shows the site as being owned by First Choice Shop Ltd - who didn't even exist at that time!!!

What gives you the impression they are drop shippers - inside knowledge perhaps? There is nothing on the site that mentions drop shipping.
