£10.42 is the best price i have found, for both cartridges on a HP deskjet 960c (compatible versions)
(1 x colour, 1 x b/w).
I only need colour refill at mo, but will need b/w soon enough.. separate prices are about £2 more (on printerbasics.com)

Try cityinkexpress.co.uk. and read the info on ICC profiles.
Some compatable cartridges are poor, so you do need to do some research on the cartridge before you go down this route.
Saying that not all "genuine" cartridges work properly either (my experience is with epson), and I personally have not had good experience with "re-filled" cartridges see this report on refills for HP
