Change of Address?

We moved house a month ago, haven't changed the address on the log book yet. Just taxed the car yesterday so the tax disc will have to go to the old property (still have a week left of tennancy) Question is, how soon can I send the log book off to change the address? Could I do it on Tuesday?

I would get the changes done asap, hopefully you will receive your disc ok if you are still in the previous home?

Just fill in section 6 of your logbook with your name & new address details but DO NOT tick the new keeper box, or complete the date of sale or transfer box. Sign & send to DVLA.

Should have taxed it at the post office. Send off for change of address at the same time.

Unfortunately, changing the address the car is registered to was the one and only task I left my tit of a husband to do. The reminder obviously came through to our old address, so payday comes along and I pay online. Only then does he tell me that he hasn't sent the log book off. To say I'm pee'd off is an understatement.

We don't live there but we still have the keys for another week as per our tenancy.
