holiday in uk, non driving with kids?

hi, we have 2 weeks holiday booked between 5th and 18th august.
we have 2 kids, one will be almost 6 and the other almost 2.
we stay in south west scotland and dont drive.
last year we went to blackpool but are struggling this year, anyone any good ideas where to go?

you could stay at any one the caravan sites on the coast at Filey (below scarborough) then you have everything on site - and don't need to drive - but you can go out on the bus for day trips to whitby, scarborough, north york moors etc...
