Can I give my sick dog galangal

My dog has been diagnosed with lymphoma. I intend to give him ginger and turmeric in small doses in addition to his chemo. Does anyone know if dogs can be given galangal? I can find nothing on the internet about this being given to dogs. Any help would be much appreciated or any advice to help him with his condition. Thanks.

Hi Magpie don't know about galangal but what about some cider vinegar I am a big believer in this especially the one that is most natural with the mother included
