I know nothing about tablets Ive tried reading up on them on the web but getting confused lol I want an android to surf the net read and reply to emails skype and a capacitive screen (sp?) wifi bbc iplayer etc I think a 7inch would be too small for me to read (my friend has a galaxy 7 inch and I find it difficult to read hers)so ideally 8/9/10 inch I spend about 5-6 months in Spain and really its for keeping in touch with my family etc my budget is up to £150. hoping someone can recommend or advise whats the best for my budget. Many Thanks

if you dont get on with a 7 inch screen something like this http://www.ebuyer.com/432600-sumvision-cyclone-voyager-tablet-pc-cycvoy101bt is probably close to the best you will get within your budget, but make sure you read the reviews to understand some of the limitations of the product (lack of USB charging being one)Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
many thanks, Im not really botherd about usb charging as i wont be using it outside just inside so charging from a wall socket will be fine. Can you expand the memory?0

Oh bother! I was going to recommend one that was a cracking buy at £139.99 last time I looked, just checked and its shot up to £199!
Its still available cheaper on places like Amazon but only from China and I was going to point you to a UK seller.
Best priced other UK seller for it I could find is here, its a good tablet, excellent high resolution IPS screen, Bluetooth, twin cameras, enough power for you to not out grow it for a while which is good MSE. Ainol are making good products.

You may find a better deal elsewhere, when It was being sold at £139 it was a steal.0 -
is the Ainol better than the sumvision cyclone? Cant find a lot of reviews for it and some that ive found says the instructions (on board) etc come in chinese lol Thanks0

I picked up an Ainol Hero 2 quadcore via McBub for around £130. Since you can pay with Paypal I had some confidence to get my money back if nothing arrived!
It does all I want but the CPU is not 'mainstream' so maybe doesn't play the graphic intensive games well, and probably is not a fast as you might expect from a 'quadcore'.
It can do all the things on your list, although last time I tried Skype there was some feedback if I had the speaker volume too loud (maybe OK with earphones).
BBC iplayer works OK via the Firefox browser (couldn't get app to work), although I guess you are aware that you will have to do some clever stuff with proxy servers to get BBC iplayer in Spain anyway.
There are some user forums also starting to appear:
