Advice on what to say to JSA

Due to redundancy, Im due to claim JSA this week and apparantly now we all have to ring up to speak to someone. I dont trust the Jobcentre as in the past i have been shoved into jobs i really hate and have generally found them unhelpful. The best jobs i have found are the ones i have found myself.
I just wondered exactly what they ask on the phone. Should i have any details ready to give to them and is there anything i shouldnt say to avoid the problems i have had before?

I went through the process a couple of weeks ago. I did my claim online, then somebody rang me a few days later to get a few more details. They then sent me the form which I had to take to the local job centre. At the job centre they went through the form with me. I then had to see an advisor who sat with me and looked up jobs on the net. It's up to you to apply for them.
