Jileon wellies refund rights

I bought some wellies from Jileon through Amazon in November, I have worn them maybe a dozen times and the heel inside has 'collapsed', they make squeeking and clicking sound as I walk now and are uncomfortable and unwearable. I paid £50 for these wellies so expected them to last a bit longer than a few of months!
I have contacted Jileon asking for a refund but wanted to know what my rights are. Do I have to accept a replacement or can I ask for a refund?
If they ask for the wellies to be returned do I have to shell out the postage (they are big and weigh a ton).
Thanks in advance

You have no rights to dictate how the matter is resolved (replace, repair or refund) but can express a preference
As it is a faulty item then the seller should cover return postage0 -

Very strange. Mine have just done the same this week and have also split along the bottom. You didn't get the Pink Floral Extra Wide Calf ones by any chance.
Edit: I got mine through their own website.0 -
We are sorry to hear that you have had a problem with your boots. We offer a 12 month guarantee on our boots (twice the length of most manufacturers) and would be very happy to replace them.
Please get in touch with us directly and we will be happy to help.

Have you tried contacting Amazon instead?
Amazon tend to try and steer you to the manufacturer however the first year you have a right to return items to the seller as far as I am aware?
I have in the past contacted Amazon 6+ months after buying something and told them I was unwilling to go through the hastle with the manufacturer since my contract was with them and they have given me a return label and replaced the item with a brand new one.
Amazon have top class customer service when it comes to returns so if you have that option I would always say try them first.
This is if it was bought from Amazon rather than the Marketplace however.
//Edit Did not notice the official responce, if it is indeed official seems you will have no need for Amazon.0
