Saturday: Gammon steak, mash, veg and HM cheese & onion sauce

Is your sauce just a white sauce base with cheese and onion added? As i am also having Gammon this week, would love to try this out. Thanks.

I'm a bit late posting for the week, but I will just put the rest of the week down. I did change today as I had a small pack of y/s lamb which would not have been enough for the 4 of us, but the dd's were unexpectedly out for dinner, so DH and I ate it!

Mon: Lamb casserole, rice, green veg.
    Tue: Omelettes, chips and beans.
Wed: Pasta, either cheesy or tomatoey sauce, whatever I get out the freezer!
    Thursday: Fish pie and peas.
Fri: Chilli with either wraps or nachos.

    Puddings: chocolate eggs!!!
Lunches: Soup, sandwiches, rolls or beans/ cheese on toast.

Just got back of holiday yesterday, used up everything we could before we went so trying to get the stock cupboard back up to board.

All Breakfasts - For Me its a bagel with jam and peanut butter, used the last of my HM jam so onto overly sweetened commercial *shudder* jam. For himself, cereal.

Lunches - For me as I found a few items in the freezer is salmon and rice every day, for himself its cheese sandwiches with lots of leftover chocolate, this all depends as I think a couple of days will be leftovers!

Snacks - Apples and Grapes, oh and lots of tea!!

    Dinners:

Monday - Reduced chicken and bacon bake with garlic bread

Tuesday - Spagetti Carbonara with chicken instead of bacon, forgot to pick some up, facepalm. Will be adding peas and carrots to the mixture.

Wednesday - Chilli with extra kidney beans for me with veg and rice, done in the slow cooker.

Thursday - Honey and Mustard Chicken with veg and rice, done in the slow cooker.

Friday - Fish fingers, mash and veg

Saturday - Double egg, sausage and chips

Sunday - Sunday Roast (Chicken, roast pots, veg, stuffing ball, Yorkshire pud and gravy)

Pudding - Sugar free jelly for me and non sugar free for himself and probably bits of leftover Easter eggs!
    Nessy x
    House Deposit - £0 /£20,000
    Weight Loss - .5lbs

Bit of a made up jobby, ha ha! Sweated some chopped onion in butter, then added flour, then added the milk as you would to make a normal white sauce, and loads of grated cheese! Was good :D

Funnily enough the chef on Superscrimpers made exactly this today, and i immediately thought of your post :D. I'm on SW so the milk and cheese in the same dish will be tough going especially with meat aswell, but would like t try it. Thanks.
