Time to replace stolen debit card - Lloyds TSB

Options
Hi all - too late now to call bank (I think!) so am asking here as I'm a bit worried with the long weekend coming up.

Reported my debit card stolen on Sunday, and was told a new one was being sent out to me. Still nothing received today - would you be hopeful of receiving this in the post tomorrow? This has happened to me before, and on each occasion I remember being surprised at the speed with which a new card was sent to me - I was really expecting it today. Any experiences?

As they say it can take 7 to 10 days to replace a lost or stolen card, though from experience it usually arrives within 3 to 4 days. It may arrive tomorrow.

Do you not have another account that you can transfer funds to and use the debit card on that account. If not it might be something to consider for the future, you could open this account and keep the card at home so its not lost and you can use it should your other card be lost or stolen.
Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.

I do have credit cards and am lucky in having a partner who is able to lend me enough money, but it's not ideal on a long weekend is all. Just seems to be quicker usually. Fingers crossed!

Did they change the pin because they usually do for lost /stolen cards and that will arrive after the card
