DFS problems

Hello, I'm new so I hope I'm posting in the right place
Basically, we ordered a new sofa from DFS last year in July. It was nearly £3000, it's fabric and we got a 4 seater, 3 seater and an audio chair.
We have had a sofa previously from DFS and weren't happy with how the cushions depressed after time, the sales person advised if we bought foam filling this would not happen, this was purchased at an additional cost of £150 per cushion.
Fast forward 7 months and its happened, had DFS out they said nothing is wrong and is to be expected.
Guardsman have been out on an unrelated matter today as my cat has scratched the sofa and he advised the quality of foam they use isn't great which is why this has happened.
DFS are coming back on Tuesday but I need to know what my rights are? I don't want to return the sofa as I love it, I just don't like the way it is. Also, we bought on buy now pay later so we start paying for it on the 1st April.

Hi and welcome.:)

Blimey there foam interiors have increased in price as was quoted £50 per sofa.
I take it you are aware that you will still need to turn the seat cushions on a regular basis.

I'm a bit confused as to what your complaining about is the fact guardsman are saying the seat cushions are of poor quality.0 -

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
I'm sorry about my previous post.
I complained to DFS pre any Guardsman interaction regarding the foam in the seat cushions. Guardsman then arrived yesterday on an unrelated matter and whilst he was there he was asking about any other problems etc I had.
So i told him about the cushions and he said (after sitting on it and feeling it) its really poor quality and to give DFS another call to get them to sort it.
Yeah, we still turn them regularly0 -
Are they firm or soft when you sit on them and how long have you had your furniture.????0
-
Hi,
They were originally firm, now they are so soft you sink into them.. I have 3 sofas there are only two of us, we don't have people round and have rotated the sofas and they are all like this...
We've had the sofa since July 20120 -
That does not seem right.:(
Advise the service guy that they should not be that soft and would like replacement interior cushions.
Please let us know on what DFS say on Tuesday.
An easy indication that cushions have not been turned is the fabric is no longer in line with the edges .0
