Have I messed up?

Options
Hiya everyone, Yes it's me again. I have a couple of questions please then I promise not to bug people again (well at least for a while). I posted a while back about getting a good 0% balance transfer credit card and after doing Martin's eligibility check the only one that I could get was a Capital One card, I filled the form in with the amount I wanted transferring, got accepted - I thought thank goodness for that only to get a £750 credit limit (absolutely no use to me whatsoever).

Because I have made that application and got accepted I suppose it's of no use to me trying to apply for another one - Yes?

Why can't I get a credit card for my Husband (who is now starting back to work, but that's another story) when I do an eligibility check and put Gary's details in I get 'don't bother' applying for anything but a Capital One! When you do the check do it associate everything with our address?

I only want to get my balance transferred from Barclaycard (yes who are an absolute pain in the backside) because my 0% rate has ended onto a new 0% card, surely this can't be that ruddy painful.

And how do people manage to get loads of credit cards (I don't mean that nastily) but I only want one to transfer.

I'll stop waffling.

Thank Carol x

p.s. I'll update my other thread with a bit of good news for once too.

Why no use? Transfer £650 - every little helps.

It's not based on your address, but if you are financially associated, that will have an impact.

I know, I know and I'm sorry - another question I need answering please.

Do you think it's a good idea to do a money transfer from the credit card to the bank account so I can pay a pay day loan off which is due at the beginning of April for £210? Thanks, x

If you have absolutely no choice, then yes. Far better than defaulting on the PDL.

But if you have available cash from your payday to pay for your pay day loan, then do that.

Had a sneaky feeling that might be the case so it's pointless me trying to get Gaz a decent 0% balance transfer credit card with a higher limit of then £750 so I can transfer my balance from the 'lovely, lovely' Barclaycard people who are now screwing me for 'lots' of interest.

Presume also with me just having the Capital One card we will need to leave applying for another one for a while - that true?

Any no no money left from pay day - would like to think that there was (that's a even longer story)
