    We could do that but we have very old coveing, dado rails and decorative wall plaster work which would be ruined. We have heard that there is a new product coming onto the market which will insulate the interior brickwork in these houses. I don't know what it's called but it will be a good option for us when it becomes available.

    We do have underfloor heating in the kitchen, which has proved very good but a little expensive again. It's all swings and roundabouts, we need a large house because kids have learning disabilities so can't share rooms. Thanks for the idea tho.
