Additional Home Phone Number

I would like an additional home phone number for my business but don't want to have another line installed (due to the cost).

Is there such a thing where I can get a normal geographic number for the area I live but have it set up so that it diverts to my mobile?

Do you have a broadband connection?

If so have you looked at VOIP, it could give you two extra lines/numbers.

I have just last week sign up to VOIP so that I could get a fax to email account and yes it did me some other numbers but I wasn't sure on how it would be charged as I didn't understand it. When you say xx pp minute is it me that pays or is it the person who dials the number?

You will have to pay for the diverted leg if you want to divert the geographical number to your mobile, as you would with BT or any other supplier.

You may want to look into BT "CallSign" on their website

I've just started using VOIP on Orange, it's good, but at the moment they only have a limited no of geographical area code, so I picked the nearest one to me.
