I had a problem with my new washer/dryer. The company took the details and sent an engineer out to replace the parts. He turned up nearly 2 hours late and with the wrong parts.
On the second visit he was over 2 hours late for the appointment and made a 'botch job' of the repair.
A third appointment was requested to fix the problems caused by the engineer, an I said it would have to be a Saturday as my previous appointments were unpaid from work and I cannot afford any more time unpaid.
The company has offered me a £20 voucher to compensate me and a repair on a weekday.
I do not want a £20 voucher from them and do not want a weekday appointment, as this would be a third day unpaid from work through the companies incompetence, not my fault.
Am I legally allowed to claim for monies lost from work because the company has not kept its appointment times and there will have to be a third appointment because of their fault not mine?
