Once you have installed energy efficient boiler, insulation etc the next step is to actually switch your heating on. It is so predictable that government feel the market is working, when were any of them last cold? Like thousands of other people I manage on a small income(pension)incidentally made smaller by the collapse of the finan cial markets in 2008,this winter has been the most punishing I can ever remember. It is morally wrong that in the 21st century people in this country cannot afford to turn their heating on when needed.I am so fed up with politicians telling the public we must all suffer the consequences of the recession when they remain isolated and immune to any change in their way of life. All of the main parties remain out of touch with reality, only interested in point scoring against each other. It really is time for change, elected individuals that understand what is happening in Britain today, not millionaires as some are in each party never having had to budget in their entire lives!
