if you're feeling creative, Blue Peter have got instructions for making a pirate ship. They also did a treasure chest in the programme today so look out for the instructions in the next couple of days on their web site.....

That pirate ship is cool! Looks a bit complicated to make though. A bunch of 4 year olds would probably wreck it though, then I'd need to sit and cry cause all of my hard work had been ruined!

I have used this site before and they are really fantastic...great service and they keep me up to date with reminders etc. Can't fault them:

They are doing the Google Checkout promotion at the moment - so you can get £10 off any order over £30 (before postage).

Just add stuff to basket and the Google option is at the bottom of basket page along with links to explain what it's about.

Oh and if you go the photo route for invites - I suggest you don't use anything so obviously under copyright as 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.

How about not overdoing the themed stuff - you could just go for all black plates, napkins etc - may be cheaper than stuff with Johnnie Depp's face printed on it!!!

And if you bought come black sugar paper, you could help them all make pirate hats as a craft activity.... Have some white skull & crossbones cut out ready to stick on...
