Max 2 Hour drive, day out over Easter?

I'm looking for a day out, probably Saturday.
Somewhere around a 2hr maxium drive from central London, either free or cheapish.
Been looking at castles, places of interest and stately homes but prices are quite steep IMO.
Can anyone suggest something/somewhere, that won't cost an arm and a leg for 4 adults please?
Indoors would be great, seeing as forecast is for bad weather again.

Warwick Castle is a good day out and about 2 hours drive from London via M40 or M1 routes.
You can usually do a google search to find 2for 1 vouchers so it would be £22.80 for two people for castle entry (£11.40 per person). You do pay extra for parking or there is a public carpark nearby that we found to be cheaper.

If you register with coke zone they do a 2for1 r Warwick Castle voucher for 5 points, which you get for registering and answering a couple of questions, so you and one of the rest of your party could use this to get two vouchers.
