help!!!!! i had to reboot my computer and dont have all the software

hi there

about 3 weeks agop my computer totally crashed, well ive rebooted, checked and cleaned for viruses and it is working fine now.

my problem is that i havent kept all the software for different products, ive just gone to use my webcam (its mikomi) and i have to install the cd rom, which i no longer have. is there anything i can do??????

    You could try putting the model number into a search engine and look for the drivers.

    Or go to the companys website support/downloads section and get software and drivers from there.

    and do a google for online backup services (mozy, carbonite,elephantdrive etc) not putting salt in the wounds, but the the money the charge per year (and assuming you have broadband) its a life and time saver.

    Good news is your PC should be nice and speedy after a rebuild :)

    Each mikomi webcam model has a different driver, so you need to know your specific model number.

    Apparently, all the mikomis (which, as far as I know are only sold by Argos) are made by this company, so try and download the driver that corresponds with your particular model -

    thanks every1, i dnt seem 2 b able to press your thank buttons so i thought id post it.

    im still havin a few hiccups, i downloade 2 drivers which i thought were the right ones but nope! there is no model no. on the webcam either so as they hav been reduced to a tenner im just gna buy a new 1, i kno its not strictly moneysavvin but it is time/stress saving!!!!

    Lidl have a 1.3MegaPixel model for 9.99 today. Surely better than the Mikomi.
