Tesco Rewards - Cosmos Holidays

Really upset. Saved my rewards vouchers to put towards a holiday for the boyfriend's 50th birthday. Saw the Rewards £10 worth of clubcard vouchers = £30 worth of Cosmos vouchers.

I had £60 worth of vouchers so was happy thinking I would get £180 worth of Cosmos vouchers.

Started looking and found the the Tesco Cosmos holiday was much more expensive than booking direct with Cosmos and my £60 worth of vouchers turned out to give me just a £56 saving.

Trying to tackle Tesco about this but they just refuse to accept it is misleading. Found out that the issue was previous raised with Watchdog and Tesco had promised to make it clearer on the websit but haven't. I think they are tricking consumers into thinking they are getting a good deal.

You are right, they should make it much clearer.

  • I would sell the vouchers on Ebay, you'll get £120 in cash for them. Plus Cosmos severely overprice their holidays anyway, so use Trivago to get the cheapest price hotel's, you'll save tons more money than using vouchers.
