Asda 5kg Charcol Briquettes Rip Off

Two weeks ago (and for the last couple of years) £2.47 - today £2.97. A 20% price hike - I don't think the world price has gone through the roof or there been a stealth tax imposed.
Asda make all the noise in the world about rolling back prices but they are very quiet about ramping them up

go to aldi instead, they were selling big bags of charcoal briquettes for £1.99 last time I was there (about 2 weeks ago)0

Have you got a home bargains near you? They also do bbq stuff very reasonable and I've seen charcoal in Lidl before too, but not sure of the price.0

Lidl I believe are similar price to Aldi I've bought from them before. Not got one of these Home Bargains places within about 80 miles unfortunately0
