wedding car chaos (limo broker)

Hi all just after some advice.......
A few weeks ago (12/3/13) I was looking into booking a car for my big day having found a few companies I was contacted by Limo Broker after a quote, I spoke to one of their friendly operators who went through details confirmed prices etc and deposit amounts. I was happy with details as discussed and agreed to pay a deposit which was then declined due to my card being blocked by the bank, I informed the member of staff not to try and take payment until I contact the bank they had agreed to this and also said they would call me back to make agreed payment. The following day I was not contacted and had heard nothing back from the company since, yesterday after checking my account it looks like a payment had been taken out 2 days after the inital conversation (14/3/13).
Since that first conversation and having heard nothing back I have booked with another firm, I contacted Limo Broker who have said that I will loose all the deposit which is £210 I have explained the situation it's frustrating as I have now contacted them 3 times in regards to this and have been told I will be contacted same day (this did not happen) again I contacted them today and was hung up on by a manager and then told I could not cancel booking and if I was too I would loose my deposit. Can anyone help me please.........
