Hi,

I am a single employee in my own limited company and do some freelance work.

Are there any online payroll services that anyone can recommend who will process the real-time updates to the inland revenue, do the NI calculations and all the submission that need to be made?

Are there any major disadvantages to doing this other than cost?

Hi, A payroll bureau should be able to sort that out for you for very little cost. I run payroll for a number of companies, if you would like to pm me I will give you my prices so you can compare.

if you check out the hmrc website , there some free software to download, i've had a try of all of them and the easiest seems to be the brightpay

Hi,

Firstly thanks both for your replies. I was specifically looking at payroll bureau, I noticed there were a few online that would do it for you but basically want to just hand the payment figure over and the rest will be done for me.

Anyway, I have now a local accountant who is going to take it off my hands for me.
