Can anyone help me plzzzzz :eek: i have deleted the maps on my HP 540 hand held 

dunno how i managed it but they have gone, has anyone got any ideas how to replace them ???

Just reload the maps from the installation disc.
It gives this option during installation!

I did not have an instalation disc it was already in the device,
is this because i had it off ebay

You COULD try the original seller, but I suspect they may be selling on the software and the maps (which are copyright in themselves) illegally. Do you have any licence details for the TomTom product? You may be able to get a replacement via TomTom, even if it means paying (around £30 is the rumour) for the upgrade to TomTom5 when it appears in the next month or so.
I could also recommend Sprite backup, from this website, but it would be a bit like shutting the stable door after the horse left! Sorry, but handheld PCs need to be backed up regularly - mine does a hard reset if it is dropped (happened twice now). My backups are weekly.0
