self employed- can he claim

my husband is self employed, he needs to go into hospital and will need time off to recover, he's looking at about 3-4 weeks, can anybody tell me if he can claim any benefits, we have 2 children, i do work but what i earn will not cover all the bills.

Yes, I am self employed and in a similar situation, he can claim for incapacity benefit, it is approx £60 - £70 per week paid in arrears. Also his self employed NI stamp does not have to be paid while he is off sick.No Links in Signatures by Site Rules - MSE Forum Team 20

could anyone advise me on what exact insurance i need to cover both my oh and me to clean domestic houses and carpet cleaning as i want to set up in business doing this but havent got the foggiest how to do it legally, and if any other suggestions please advise, thanks in advance::p0
