McAfee and AVG
When I try to look at AVG since installing the latest edition I get:
"Could not initialise Anti-Virus kernal interface.
Application cannot run."
My son in law suggested this was something to do with McAfee being on this computer. Is he right? If not, what does it mean?.

you should never run 2 antivirus programs on the same machine at the same time as they may conflict with each other0

Although bluntly put, he's correct. Choose which one you want to use (assuming the Mcaffee app is anti virus), uninstall them both and install your choice.
