Fastest ATOS Assessment
Comments

I had an ATOS medical back in November, and was put into support group cont based esa.
I was sent another questionnaire last week, which I sent back as of today.
As none of my conditions have changed since my last assessment, should I keep support group status?
 Thanks.0

Some are reporting delays of several months in hearing back after sending in the ESA50. It all depends on area though, your relative may hear back earlier. In the meantime, if he sees his GP it would be worth asking if he could write a brief letter stating the assessment will need to be at his home, and the reasons why.SPELLKASTER wrote: »I had an ATOS medical back in November, and was put into support group cont based esa.

 Thanks.
Some of the support group criteria changed in January, so this may have an impact on your claim. I think there is a thread on the Disability board that gives more details.0

 .
If you get a decisionmaker that views your claim in the same way, and they are presented with a similar assessment of your case from ATOS.
There is no real way to tell if it's likely unless you are clearly qualified - for example if you cannot walk or use a manual wheelchair.0

If you've not heard anything within a few weeks, you can always call ATOS and ask them. I done that as I was concerned that my ESA50 had gone astray. They told me that they wouldn't need to reassess me and had sent my ESA50 and previous assessment back to the DWP.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0
