Halifax change Terms and Conditions

Options
Just received notification that Halifax are changing two significant terms:

"In certain circumstances we may return balance transfers that result in a large credit on your account back to your other card provider"

Good job this is the regular purchases card, not the stoozing card I thought, then I get to:

"Removal of complimentary insurance cover

From 31st May we will, like many other card providers, be withdrawing the seldom-used Travel accident Cover, Flight Delay and Lost Luggage Cover and Purchase Protection Cover. This will allow us to focus on the benefits that really make a difference"

Suddenly my decision to restrict new card applications to stoozing cards might have to change. A while back they cut the 1% cashback to something paltry like 0.1%, now we won't even get purchase protection insurance.
If only everything in life was dreadful!

See my thread about their interest charges!
A minimum of 50p will be charged regardless of whether you actually owe 50p's worth of interest or not.
One of their customer advisors told me that it was cover 'small' transactions on people's Accounts and to cover postage and envelope and statements costs, which of course is absolute rubbish because if you pay off all the balance every month they can't do this!
I am still waiting to hear back from them when I mentioned that this would affect the APR they offer on the card.

I just received the terms and conditions thing today too, also they can limit the proportion of your credit limit that you can withdraw as cash. Handling fee of 2% on balance transfers, huh, minimum £2. Oh well...

About the 50p minimum charge and APR, this website may be of use if they don't get back to you...

MINT also do a minimum 50p charge -
