I got the mag through our door within the free local paper too. I'm in Worcestershire. They do say useable from 1st July and expire Sunday 14th July and not useable at M Local.
The main T&C is that its one coupon per person/ transaction and not to be used inconjunction with any other offer. usual exclusions apply like not being used on lottery, fuel, dry cleaning, fireworks, gift vouchers, tobacco, mobile phone, pharmacy
Exact coupons are:
£5 off wys £35
£3 off wys £20
£1.50 off All Tresemme 900ml shampoos and conditioners
£1.50 off Surf 42 wash Liquid
£1 off PG Tips 160's normal tea
50p off All Knorr Stoke cubes 8 packThe end is nigh0 -

If it happens again I will also be pointing out the website, asking for the managers name & telling them I will be making a written complaint to head office - a written complaint is best I think as you will get something back in writing that you can use next time it happens
Unless customers do this they will continue to be able to get away with fobbing people off & blatantly disregarding company policy
I know they have to have measures to stop the use of fraudulent coupons but trying to put a blanket ban on all printed coupons which is against company policy just isnt fair
EDIT :
just found this for sainsburys

Not exactly definative but its a start
More generally the facebook group looks like it has other good advice

sorry Browntoa, I read your post re no chatting, but hope what i have to say comes under 'policies' bit of thread title and not chat!
i had internet coupon rejected at ASDA, complained to CS via website, quoting their Ts & Cs and they apologised and sent me £5 giftcard, plus contacted store manager to tell him to train staff better! ASDA accept internet coupons for specific product, but not if coupon states 'any product in range' or similar.0
