Mr T's Real Food leaflet (not the magazine) with the strawberries on the front, saying "Enjoy the tastes of summer", which can be found in the fruit and veg section of the supermarket, has on the inside:
75p off when you spend £3 or more on fresh salad
£1 off when you spend £4 or more on fresh fruit
75p off when you spend £3 or more on fresh vegetables
All vouchers can be used as an E-coupon valid until 30/06/13, or as a voucher at the checkouts valid between 13/05/13-30/06/130 -
Does anybody know if individual supermarkets are allowed to decide if they will accept internet printed coupons or not ?
Or should they be following company policy ? - if so is this policy written down anywhere ?
Reason I ask is that I had a couple of printed coupons rejected a few days ago at Sainsburys - a manager came over saying they now only accept 'coupons out of magazines'
Someone gave me a link for asda eg

Is there one for Sainsburys ?0 -

I had a printed coupon rejected at Asda recently and I showed them that site on my phone. They ended up accepting the coupon "out of goodwill" but assured me that internet coupons were never accepted and this was a one-off, and the website meant nothing. This was the manager's decision. Bizarre, because I use internet coupons there all the time with no problems. Going to call customer services when I get round to it.0 -

I have also had the same problem at asda a while back before I knew about their written policy
If it happens again I will also be pointing out the website, asking for the managers name & telling them I will be making a written complaint to head office - a written complaint is best I think as you will get something back in writing that you can use next time it happens
Unless customers do this they will continue to be able to get away with fobbing people off & blatantly disregarding company policy
I know they have to have measures to stop the use of fraudulent coupons but trying to put a blanket ban on all printed coupons which is against company policy just isnt fair
EDIT :
just found this for sainsburys
