an investment that needs paid back

My mother has just retired and plans to go travelling. She has sold her house and plans to use this money for her travels. She would like to leave £15,000 with me as security that she has money left on her return. How would I best invest this for a period of approx 2 years and be able to return her money to her?

probably best not to invest it as it isnt your money and its only two years. I would stick with savings accounts or other deposit based products and aim to beat RPI (currently 4.8%).
