Medical 3 months after been placed in Work-Related Activity Group

I have just received a letter asking me to attend an assessment with ATOS. However im slightly confused over this because. i was placed in the work related activity group in January and was told this was for 12 months. Now 3 months later i received this letter? I have heard about people being reassessed very quick but i have not received another ESA50 form just a random letter asking me to attend an assessment. I was told on the phone that i was in the WRAG for 12 months and like i say i have not received another Esa50. The last ESA50 i filled in was around 6 months ago now.

Is this normal behavior?

It does seem to happen. Did you appeal being placed in the WRAG grouping, or perhaps they are reviewing your claim which if this is the case it may be beneficial to go along and get reassessed as this may pop you into the support group. Reviews can be done from 3 months to 3 years, depending on award length. Hope it goes well.

What exactly are you being asked to do, and are you sure it's ATOS?
Are there any more details?
There can be things you are required to do when in the work-related group.
