Aw flying donkeys don't give up
it does get easier honestly it does!! I find the key for me is to do something to earn each and every day - some days it might only be 10p and others it could be £10 or £20 - regardless of how much it is each day the main thing is i have more money at the end of the month than i would have if i didn't do something each day. Sometimes its just about finding something you can fit into your own schedule!
Yesterday i made it to a car boot sale but didn't sell very muchjust £26.30 after my table fee. BUT i did get rid of some more stuff out of this house and thanks to being more organised with ebay i made some more sales on there
Then i got stuck into more re-listing and only after i had added about 20 things did i realise i was getting charged for listing. Seems i have had a couple of people giving me low stars for postage costs so no free listing for me. I wouldn't mind if i was overcharging for postage but its just been with the increase in RM costs which i have highlighted in my listings . soooooooooo irritatingi wish people would actually look at the label to see the amount paid in postage before leaving feedback like that. Aw well nothing i can do about it really.......at least in a few days i will have the 99p listings for free again
Right time to go earn something for today (decided against car booting in case i have another slow day).Debt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

anyone else getting frustrated with valued opinions surveys not crediting? when i queried it apparently there is a fault so they have to be done manually got some from just over a month ago not credited yet... reluctantant to keep doing the surveys in case they never credit waiting for 6-7.
Yep, I've got about 6 waiting to credit, same with Toluna.
Have been on lots of courses so not managed as much as I would like this month:
AmEx cashback - £27.56
AGC cards from SB - £15 (still waiting for another £5 so won't count that yet)
Morrisons voucher - £10
Bagged up change - £10
Next voucher (out of date but can get revalidated) - £10
£72.56 total so far
Not changed up my foreign currency yet as OH might be going on a banger rally to Italy in July in which case he can use the euros, rather annoying not knowing as there is about £50 sat there!
Hoping that some of the survey sites will credit so next month might be better, plus got some cashback in quidco which might pay out.0 -
Hi all,
This is my first post and my first challenge!
Can I please try for £5.00 a day
Im guessing that if you make for example £15 in one day that you can carry it over for 3 days;)
Looking forward to getting to know you all :j
Hi Nelly & Welcome:wave:
As we're nearly at the end of April .. you might want to pop over to the May Challenge thread instead ?
Linky here : https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4569971
It's still worth reading this thread if you've not already done so, as every monthly thread has little extra gems of ideas to go with the info in the first couple of posts of each new thread :A
As for me ... not done very well this month at all. With hindsight (great thing that it is) I think I was maybe a bit ambitious with my target, bearing in mind that not only am I now employed again but it's also full time (as opposed to the part time job I had before)
I've got a massive £ 1.01 to add to April's tally and as I'm not likely to get anything new in before the end of the month I'm declaring now at £59.96
Hopefully May will be much better - I already have lots of things due for payment next month (jobs done this month) and some already that are due in June
Well Done Gang on all your results !! Fab News
See you on the May Thread

Yesterday I got £10 from Harris Poll and today so far I have made £2.58 for some writing work but I will not actually count that until I get paid. I am going to spend some time today looking for other sites that I can join to hoping help with the target for next month. Total income so far for this month is £193.25.0

I think I will declare at £404/£300 for this month. Really pleased with that as its made up a bit for the months that I failed to reach my target.
See you all on the May thread.

HI everyone, apologies from me for being MIA these last couple of weeks. My target now stands at £373 for the month of April
Annoyingly though, things have not gone to plan, the washing machine went snap, crackle, then pop and we had to replace it, using up all my hard earned cash
After that I had a bit of a sulk and gave up, sorry.......I was so set on working my debts down that when it happened, and all that money disappeared I got really disheartened.
I am back now though, determined again and at least we are not further in debt, which would have happened if I hadn't had that money to hand.
Have also picked up regular commissions work from the UK stitching mags, I will be counting these as my wage now and not towards the challenge.
I'm ready to hit May as hard as I can and work towards getting one of these pesky debts paid off.0 -
Hi all ,
Just £8.23 to add for me ... I ordered something off of Amazon and they sent me out 2 orders instead of 1 ... I emailed them and they have said i can have it for free :T ... so i will add this amount to this month .. This brings my April total to £108.19 .
To be honest i really need to motivate my self for next month .... as i should really be doing alot more than what i am doing .... So i intend getting my bum into gear for Mays challenge ....terri x
